Located on a steep lakeshore and surrounded by a natural forest, this preliminary study for a 40-room hotel proposes ways in which the new building can integrate within the natural landscape.
The volume is barely visible from the street level – only a light pavillon rises above it, while the rest of the building unfolds at the lower levels towards the lake, closely mirroring the natural slope through varying positions of the accommodation units.
