30.05.2024. The studio opened to the public and showed its work in progress as well as projects completed throughout this first year, all in a relaxed setting with a glass of wine. On this occasion, the de Plano team also presented itself for the first time as the extended partnership between Emil Burbea, Laura Covaci and Radu Ponta.
Since a significant part of the studio’s activity is related in one way or another to architectural competitions, a presentation-discussion about public competitions took place, focused in particular on the „design brief” as an essential tool in obtaining the most appropriate solutions.
Alongside other guests with recognized expertise in this activity, all those curious and interested in promoting the quality of architecture and public space were welcome. It was an opportunity to discuss the sometimes convoluted process of stimulating and validating innovative solutions, impossible to specify in advance.
